How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the grant funds to complete Greta's spay surgery and will waive her adoption fee when her furever family adopts her. She is currently still in rescue, available for adoption.

We are able to waive her adoption fee, which removes a barrier to adoption. Potential families will still need to meet adoption requirements and criteria, but her fee is waived, and she will go to her new home completely vetted: spayed, vaccinations, microchip and 30-day free pet insurance from Pet First!

Greta is a 7- to 8-year-old pointer who was found in a rural area, probably dumped because she was too old to hunt. She is full of spunk and loves comfy beds and cozy blankets.
