This helped us to adopt more dogs. Our costs for vetting the pets, in most cases, outweighs the adoption fee, so the grant from the Petfinder Foundation allowed us rescue and then adopt more pets.

Josh and Titus were adopted from us when they were just 8 weeks old and returned to FOCHP after 10 years. Not only were they now senior dogs, but we also needed to make sure they were up-to-date on all vetting. They were a bonded pair and very sweet but a tiny bit shy when you first met them. We were able to adopt them to the most wonderful home together since there was no adoption fee. We were able to spend money on advertising and vetting thanks to the Petfinder Foundation grant, which covered the adoption fee.
