This grant helped support our Syosset High School Dog Rescue Group and other humane-education programs we have where we go into other schools. High-school kids learn about rescue and help at adoption events and learn how to care for dogs and help network the adoptable pets! At the event pictured, the kids helped many dogs, including the ones in the photo: Buffo, Aurora, Syd, Pretty Girl and Toby!
