Hopeful Hearts, Inc.: Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Medical care: vaccines, spays/neuters, pain management, antibiotic.

We were able to increase the number of animals that received vaccines and were altered. Overall, improving the health and welfare of them. This grant also helps to decrease the time that it takes for pets to go to their adoptive homes since we have the funds available for spays/neuters instead of sometimes having to wait a little longer.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Mossy, who is now Henry, came to us as an outdoor farm dog. He had little socialization and had never been indoors. We thought for sure he was going to be one of our long-term fosters. We were able to get him vaccinated and neutered with this grant and start the process of socializing and finding him a great home. Mossy took to the “good life” rather quickly and before long, we had a great couple interested in him. He is now in a home with a family that is the perfect match for him. He is also the perfect lap dog for his “dad,” as pictured.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to help enrich his life.
