During a time of uncertainty, it was very hard to find people willing to adopt a dog. With the threat of a liability suit upon us, if one of our adopters tested positive for COVID-19 after an adoption it was not easy getting out there! Thank God that did not happen and our new adopters were very kind and understanding. We had THREE successful adoptions and one returned adoption during the height of the pandemic. The returned dog was brought back due to the effects of a change in lifestyle related to the issues the virus caused in the economy, and the family not being able to carry through with their plans. But it also gave our other adopters a lot of time so they could do more. Lovey (first photo) was in rescue for three years and finally found her furever home during COVID, and so did our Scooter (second and third photos)!
