NEWS: Extension of IRA Charitable Rollover Through 2011

If you are 70½ and older, you can make a direct transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA to your favorite organization, like the Petfinder.com Foundation. This allows you to avoid paying income tax and your gift counts toward your required minimum distribution.

There are many options to make a planned or deferred gift to the Petfinder.com Foundation. Many of these provide attractive tax benefits. By making a charitable gift of your estate assets, you will be making a commitment to help homeless animals and an investment in an organization that is working to end the euthanasia of adoptable pets.
